Earlier this morning (Barcelona time) Brian and I sat down in front of a camera and recapped some of the major news at MWC. We talked about the new Snapdragon 610/615, IMG's Series 6XT architecture disclosure, Intel's Merrifield and Moorefield as well as our hands on experience with Samsung's Galaxy S 5.
Check it all out in the video below!

WHAT ARE YOU TWO WEARING? Where do you even purchase such terrible ties? You look like bad salesmen. Please visit a JCREW and just buy the outfits on the mannequin.errorr - Sunday, March 2, 2014 - link
I want more! Now that that is out of the way I wanted to bring your attention to a great series of posts over at the ARM Mali blog that has some pretty interesting tidbits.
They have already gone over some of the more interesting things in the latest Mali arch. Their lead driver developer has also committed to talking about their shader architecture in an upcoming post.

I wanted to note some an interesting deep dive on the Mali blog on how FP is implemented among various competing architectures. Spurred by a post from youi about how precision differences among hardware should be taken into account in designing ui elements to avoid artifacts.http://community.arm.com/groups/arm-mali-graphics/...
Shocking result was that tegra3 didn't do fp32 and had some weird intermediate implementation between 16 and 32.
