October '98 Video Accelerator Comparison

On the left we have the 3Dfx Banshee whose image quality is reminiscent of the Voodoo2, the Savage3D (when viewing a scene not effected too badly by the poor OpenGL drivers), and other cards of that class. On the right, the Matrox G200 is the trademark of most other next generation chipsets, such as the nVidia TNT, and of course, the G200 itself.
