    What makes it more "ultimate" than anyone else's A57/A53 big/little configuration?

    There was supposed to be a slide uploaded showing the various aspects. Curse the slow internet....

    I believe it was the combination of Cat 10 LTE, 802.11ac, and a high performance processor.

    Nice diss on Microsoft by not showing any Windows Phones in the PowerPoint... More confirmation the next WP flagship is 6+ months away and will be using an "old" 810 by the time it reaches market. Reply

    I fear the 810 will be shockingly bad for people expecting serious gains.
    New core and new process is supposed to be a big step forward but the new core perf gains will likely be offset by the low clocks (2GHz). From the very little data available it seems that in multi-core it scales really poor (the SD 615 scales poorly too)- maybe they throttle when all cores are active or maybe there is some BW bottleneck. Was excited about it but at this point i expect a dud, it's good if it's not but ...we shall see.
    So i assume the 30% gains in perf are about GPU , encryption and maybe some other very specific tasks.

    I don't think we've any reason to think it'll be "shockingly" bad (an anonymous rumor on an obscure site doesn't count for much IMHO).
    The move to avmv8 instructions should make for a more power efficient experience all by itself.
    Also, best modems in the biz

    lol you must be working for Fox News. Never have i mentioned any rumor just basic math, what gains A57 is supposed to bring against the low clocks. Then you take shockingly bad out of context when what i said was "shockingly bad for people expecting serious gains"
    As for best modem,based on what? Highest speeds that almost nobody uses or perf or perf per power or perf per cost?
    Anyway ,you have the Exynos 5433 in the wild at low clocks for reference and some SD810 benchmarks too but those need confirmation.Before we get that,we can hope but it's better to be reasonable and not expect what doesn't make sense.
